MHS Announcements Wednesday October 21, 2026

*Today is Unity Day, a day to stand together for kindness, acceptance and inclusion. We challenge you to do something kind:  Hold the door. Say hello. Give someone a genuine compliment. Thank a teacher, coach or staff member. Kindness doesn't have to be a big gesture.  Remember that kindness, acceptance, and inclusion aren't things we practice for just one day. They're choices we make every day. We don't all have to look alike, think alike, or have the same interests to stand together. Different people. One school. One community. Everyone belongs.

*Congratulations to the Debate Team for going 1-1 at their first competition of the season last night. The Impromptu Debate team, made up of Paige Kistner, Sydney Norby, and Levi Behm, brought home the first win of the season, and both teams had great performances.

*The Chess Club is meeting TODAY in Mr. Freeman's room 201. All students are welcome to play!

*FCCLA is meeting in Ms. Krause’s room 110.   Please plan to attend so we can discuss competitive events, leadership conference and our upcoming event "Trunk Junk" . The kits have arrived so we will need to discuss specifics for the event.

*Attention Sophomores: The UW-Stout career cluster group lists are posted on the counseling office and main office windows. Please check your assigned chaperone and group number.
