*Attention MHS Students: Do you consider yourself a strong writer with civic pride? If so, this opportunity is for you! The annual Voice of Democracy speech competition is a time for students to express themselves regarding a patriotic theme. This year's theme is "What a Veteran Taught Me About America" The top three prizes--$100, $75, and $50 are awarded to the top three orators from MHS. The national first place winner receives a $30,000 scholarship. If you are interested in competing in this local competition by writing a 3-5 minute speech on this topic, please see or email Ms. Westerlund -- Room 264--- for more details. A written speech and an audio recording of your speech will be due on Friday, October 23rd to Ms. Westerlund.

*Esports Club will be having weekly competitions every Monday from 3:15 to 4:45pm in Mr. Daniel's room, room 189. All are welcome to attend. We will play games on the Switch. We will start with Super Smash Brothers and Mario Kart. Come and compete. Mr. Lemke and Mr. Daniel look forward to seeing you there each Monday.

Today is the last day to donate to the Penny Drive. Put your pennies in your class container and silver coins in your rival class to sink their points! The containers are in the Library and will be collected at the end of the day. The highest scoring class earns FOUR Homecoming points!
Wednesday’s dress up day winner was the SENIORS, class of 2027. Tomorrow’s dress up day is Mustang Pride. Wear your Mustang gear and help put Menomonie on the map!
