Hello SDMA Families and Staff.
Last evening the school board approved the SDMA Reopening Plan. A copy of the plan and a one-page summary is attached. Thank you to the Dunn County Health Department, the SDMA Planning Team, and all families, staff members, school board members, and medical professionals who provided input on the development of this plan for our local school district.
Unfortunately, the online article in today's Dunn County News is not accurate and may cause confusion for some families. The In-Person Learning Plan includes classes five-days-per-week for all students in grades K-12. If the health department requires greater physical distancing during the year due to an increased COVID burden level in our county, the Blended Learning Plan will be used which offers classes five-days-per-week for students in grades K-6 and an alternating day schedule for students in grades 7-12. This change in learning environments would not impact the families who have chosen the fully online virtual schooling option.
Thank you.
