Student Council:  We will meet in the silver pod after school until 4:30pm for fleece blanket making.

Dodgeball Tournament:  Student Council is hosting a Dodgeball Tournament on Tuesday, March 19th from 3:10pm - 5:00pm in the gym.  Teams of 6.  Teams can be mixed gender and grades.  $2 per person plus $1 for extra lives (max of 3 lives).  Lives can help when you get out or for points.  You can find forms in the cafeteria the week of March 4th.  Registration is due to Mr. Haas or Ms. Yonash with payment by Friday, March 8th.

Yummy Hearts:  Yummy Hearts Suckers are now only .50 at the school store.  Every flavor is left except watermelon and wild cherry.

February is Black History Month:  Every February, the U.S. honors the contributions and sacrifices of African Americans who have helped shape the nation.  Black History Month celebrate the rich cultural heritage, triumphs and adversities that are in indelible part of our country's history.  Throughout the month of February, MMS will recognize just a few African Americans who have influenced this country.

Nipsey Hussle was an American rapper, entrepreneur, and activist. Emerging from the West Coast hip hop scene in the mid-2000s,

Hussle became known for his numerous mixtapes, including his  The MarathonThe Marathon Continues, and Crenshaw, the last of which American rapper Jay-Z bought 100 copies for $100 each. After much delay, his debut studio album Victory Lap was released in 2018 to critical acclaim and commercial success, and was nominated for the Best Rap Album at the 61st Grammy Awards in 2019.
