Menomonie Middle School Announcements –

Music Fundraiser:  Congratulations to today’s Music Department Donation Drive winner!  Today, Claire Hausler will get to outfit the music teacher of her choice from the MMS Drama closet!  Claire, stop down to the choir room during CARES to choose your music teacher!

There is still time to enter 10 emails and be entered into tomorrow’s drawing.

PE Students:  All PE students need their chromebooks today!

Football:  Congratulations to the 8th grade football team on an excellent season!  The growth you showed over the course of the year is outstanding.  Keep working hard to take your game to the next level.

Thank you to everyone who came out to support us throughout the season.

Equipment turn in after school.  All players report to the shed after school.

7th Grade Volleyball:  The 7th grade volleyball team played Delong Middle School at home last night.  All three teams did a great job and walking away with wins.  The 7th grade play their last game of the season next Monday starting at 4pm.  Come out and support the girls!

Cross Country:  We would like the kids at practice if at all possible, as it’s also the day before the meet.  It is our CANDY/COSTUME run.  The kids are invited to dress in a costume (appropriate…no fake blood/weapons please) and we have treasure maps we follow on our run to find the treasure bags hidden around town.

Volleyball Tournament:  Student Council will he hosting a volleyball tournament!

When:  Thursday, October 26th

Time:  3:15pm – 5:00pm

Cost:  $2 per player

Who:  6-8 people per team.  Teams can be mixed grade and gender. 

 

Registration opens October 17th.  Registration forms will be in the cafeteria.   Payments and forms due to Mr. Haas or Ms. Yonash by Tuesday, October 24th.

Unity Week:  Today we wear orange to help show that Menomonie Middle School stands united against bullying.

Butter Braid Fundraiser:  Are you hungry for a Butter Braid?  See a Multi-Cultural Club member to order now through October 30th or as Mrs. Bade.  The Butter Braids will arrive November 14th in time for Thanksgiving.
