Menomonie Middle School Announcements –

Cross Country:  Congrats to the Boys and Girls Cross County Teams.  Both the boys and girls teams won the large nine team Chippewa Invite yesterday.  The boys were able to win on a tie-breaker thanks to the 6^th man (Oliver Kerze) beating the 6^th runner from Eau Claire South. The girls won by over 10 points!

Special congrats to a big run from Jack Czechowicz, for a personal best of 12:49 in the two mile.  Ella Weinberger, with an over 1 minute personal best, Avila Birmingham for racing into the top 7, Ethan Yaeger for another personal best and Chase Pember for another huge race.  We are proud of you!

Butter Braid Fundraiser:  Are you hungry for a Butter Braid?  See a Multi-Cultural Club member to order now through October 30^th or as Mrs. Bade.  The Butter Braids will arrive November 14^th in time for Thanksgiving.

Lost and Found:  Check out the lost and found table by the office and the gyms this week.  Any items left will be removed from the building after school today.

Picture Retakes:  Picture retakes are Tuesday, October 10^th.  Pictures will start right at the beginning of CARES and they will only stay until we are through the groups so make sure you aren’t late!  We will call you down to the cafeteria in groups.  Order forms are available in the front office.  If you did not get your picture taken on the first day of school, please make sure you come down even if you aren’t buying pictures as this is also the yearbook picture.

National School Lunch Week:  Next week is National School Lunch Week.  To celebrate, we will have dress up days at MMS.
