Menomonie Middle School Announcements –

Choir Concert:  Congratulations to the MMS choir students on an excellent performance last night. We are so proud of your professionalism and dedication.  You sounded amazing.

 

High School Fall Sports Meeting:  8th graders planning to participate in sports next fall, mark your calendars for the Fall Sports Meeting, Wednesday, August 2nd

5:30 – 6:00pm ~ Registration help and athletic fees in main lobby

6:00pm ~ Mandatory parent/athletic code meeting in auditorium

6:15pm ~ Coaches meeting – Fall Cheer, Girls Golf, Freshman Football, Girls Swim, Boys Soccer, Volleyball, Girls Tennis, B/G Cross Country

 

Boys Tennis:  Congratulations to the boys tennis teams for an incredible season!  The M1 team finished UNDEFEATED for the season with a complete sweep of Northstar yesterday 15-0.  The M1 boys finished with at 7-0-1 record.  The M2 lost a close match against a talented Regis team 6-8.  The M2 boys finished with a 6-1-1 record.  The coaches would like to congratulate all the players for their outstanding improvement and success this season.  The family night event is scheduled for Tuesday, May 30th at the high school tennis complex.

 

CORE Leaders:  Please meet Mrs. Waddell and Mrs. Drake in the cafeteria today at the start of WIN, not CARES, but WIN today.

 

SAGA:  The last SAGA meeting will be next Tuesday after school in Mr. Dolan’s room.  See you there!

 

Girls Soccer:  Congrats to the girls soccer team on a great season.  The girls ended the season last night against Delong with goals scored by Ari Beazley and Kaiyra Winkler.  Great season girls!

 

Junior Police Program:  If you are 14 or older, the Menomonie Police Department is looking for students who want to join their “Junior Police Program.”  Applications are due today.  Please see Officer Tisol for more information.

 

Library Due Date:  Remember to get your books back to the library.  Everything is due today.  Thank you!

 

MultiCultural Club:  Our end of the year party will be today after school until 4:30pm.  Please bring a cultural dish to share.

 

Donations Needed:  Girl Scout Troop 3015 is working on their silver Award.  What they are doing for that is making dresses for girls in Africa.  They are looking for felt and cotton fabric donations.  Donations will be accepted in front of the office through today.  They appreciate any donations and want to thank you for helping with the success of their project.
