Menomonie Middle School Announcements –

Track and Field:  Track athletes, you will be released at 2:20pm to change and board the bus at 2:30pm.  Good Luck!

Freshman Elections:  Attention 8^th grade students running for Freshman Class Officer positions.  Your application and 4-sentence leadership paragraph are due to Mr. Haas tomorrow, Friday, May 12^th.  Please turn your application into Mr. Haas directly.  Your leadership paragraph should be emailed to Mr. Haas.  Remember – Mr. Haas must approve your campaign posters.  Due to the change of date for the 8^th grade Environmental Site, speeches and election will now be held on Thursday, May 18^th during 3^rd hour.

Nurse Appreciation Week:  Along with Teacher Appreciation Week, it is also Nurse’s Appreciation Week.  School nurses are a special kind of nurse and are very important to our students!  If you see one of our nurses, thank them for all they do for us!  Nurses make a difference, anytime, anywhere ~ always!

Dance Tryouts:  The Menomonie Dance Team is hosting tryouts for the upcoming winter season.  All 8^th-11^th graders are eligible to tryout.  We will be having prep clinics on May 12^th, 15^th, and 19^th from 6-8pm at Wakanda Elementary school.  More information can be found on our team Facebook and Instagram.  If you have any questions, please contact Coach Liz, [email protected].  We hope to see you there!
