Friday:  First meeting of the MMS Kindness Ambassadors

DECA:  Our Middle School DECA will be doing Trick or Can.  Trick or Can is where you bring in non-perishable food items (stuff in cans).  All the non-perishable food items will be going to our local food pantry, Stepping Stones.  The items that are most needed are peanut butter and jelly, canned meats, boxed dinners, spaghetti sauce and pasta, rice and dry beans.  They also accept personal hygiene products.  There will be a box in every pod, office and other locations throughout school where you can put your non-perishable food items.  They do not accept home made goods.  The drive starts today and runs through Halloween.  Thank you for your support!

MMS Gives Back:  Next week our school will be competing in a completion to raise money to make tie blankets for local children’s hospitals.  To do this we will be raising money together as a school.  On Monday, bring in pennies, on Tuesday, bring nickels, on Wednesday, bring dimes, on Thursday bring quarters and on Friday bring all coins and dollars.  When brining in collected money, simply place it in your pods jug that will be placed in the pod.  At the end, which ever pod in the school collects the most money will be rewarded with ice cream sandwiches.  Together let’s help local hospitals and have fun!
