Multicultural Club:  Mandatory meeting on Tuesday, October 10th from 3:00-3:30 pm in Senora Lemanski’s room.  See you then!  If you have a conflict, be sure to see Mrs. Horner, Mrs. Lemanski or Mrs. Bade.

Picture Retakes:  Lifetouch will be here on Tuesday, October 10th, for picture retakes.  If you missed pictures on the first day of school, or need them taken again, be sure to stop down.  We will call students down to the cafeteria during CARES and 1st hour.  Come when your group is called.  Bring your order form and money with you at that time.  If you need an order form, stop in the front office.

Core Value Poster Winner:  A big thank you goes out to everyone who voted in our core value poster contest yesterday at lunch.  The winning entry was letter A, which was created by Kayla Kelsey.  Congratulations to Kayla for having your design selected to display our core values around the school!  Thank you to everyone who submitted entries.  As always, your designs were awesome and you made the decision a difficult one.

Rock-tober is also SOCK-tober:  Join FCCLS in our efforts to collect needed items for the C-s Center and Stepping Stones homeless shelter.  Imagine living through our harsh Wisconsin winter without basic necessities like socks and a warm jacket!  From October 5th – 25th FCCLA will be collecting NEW socks and new/slightly used winter gear like coats, hats and mittens.  Our community has great needs, but you can enter yourself into a raffle drawing for one of some awesome prizes!  Each article donates like a package of new socks, coats, hats, mittens, will be given a chance to enter the drawing.  Winners will be announced at the end of SOCK-tober!  All donations to the FACS room please!

Tennis Club:  Reminder to the girls in Tennis Club that we have our tennis meet Monday, October 9th.  Wear your tennis t-shirts and shorts or a skirt.  Bring water and a snack for the bus ride.  Don’t forget your tennis racket!

7th Grade Band:  A reminder that the 7th grade band will go to the band room during period 2 today.

2nd Quarter Sport Sign-ups:  Sign-ups for 2nd quarter sports, 7th & 8th girls swim, 7th & 8th boys basketball and 6th, 7th, & 8th boys & girls gymnastics will be held during lunch on Tuesday, October 10th and Thursday, October 12th.

Yearbook:  This week is National Yearbook Week, founded in 1987 by President Ronald Reagan.  Be sure to celebrate by making sure your 2017-18 yearbook is reserved.  Go online to purchase one at JOSTENS.COM.  When you buy your yearbook online, you will be automatically entered to win one of 5 Canon digital cameras, offered by Jostens.  Offer ends October 16.  Reserve your yearbook copy today.
